our story
11 years, forever to go
From movies to music to dancing and traveling, these two souls have grown together as an inseparable pair, with the strength of their bond shared through a collection of “firsts”, alongside subtle glances and synchronized rhythm of their love and laughter.
As they continue to navigate the journey of life together, James and Sofia have now reached a momentous chapter... the celebration of their union in matrimony.
Join us as we share our vows in the City of Love, not just as a promise for the future, but as a testament to the rich history we have already written together.

Q&A
What time do I have to be at the chapel?
Kindly arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony.
Can I take pictures during the wedding ceremony?
We strongly request that all guests to please avoid taking pictures and videos during the official wedding procession and ceremony. We intend to have an “unplugged” ceremony to allow our official photographers and videographers to capture the moment in the best way possible.
We will give a chance for guests to take photos after the ceremony and anytime during the reception.
Is there parking space available?
There should be enough parking space for all our invited guests at the Mere Monique Chapel and Diversion21 Hotel.
Are the venues wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our ceremony and reception venues are all wheelchair accessible. If you need extra assistance, please let us know so we can inform our coordinators.
Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?
Our reception will be held at the JR Hall of Diversion21 Hotel and it will be in an indoor setting. Cocktails and pica-pica will be served at the JR Hall Lobby in a cocktail setting while we wait for all guests to arrive for dinner.
I have special dietary requirements
We will be having a buffet setup during our reception dinner. As our guest, we want you to enjoy our wedding as much as possible, so as you RSVP, please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.
Can I bring a ‘plus one’?
We will follow a strict guest list.
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only.
Can I bring my kid/s?
As much as we adore our little loved ones, we cannot accommodate all of them. The only children attending are those that we personally requested. We are hoping for your kind understanding.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, of course! Guests are expected to be in strictly formal attire. For the ladies, please wear long gowns. For the gentlemen, please wear traditional Barong Tagalog. For more information, kindly refer to the “Dress Code” section of this website.
Is it necessary to RSVP for the wedding?
Yes, please. We need to consolidate all of our guests’ details as soon as possible to finalize our seating arrangement. If you have any trouble RSVP-ing through this website, please contact the couple directly.
Where can I stay in Iloilo?
